Bollywood director Divya Khosla Kumar has walked the ramp in a gorgeous mekhela chador designed by fashion designer Sanjukta Dutta at the recently held Gurugram International Couture Week (GICW) 2019.
Divya praised the talent and creativity of the handloom weavers of Assam and was euphoric with donning the exquisite garment.
The wife of popular music label and film production company T-Series’ Chairman Bhushan Kumar, Divya grabbed the limelight as she turned showstopper for Dutta at the fashion show held at Gurugram.

Last month, Top Model United Kingdom winner Ingrida Ilgine wore a stunning handcrafted Assam silk gown from Sanjukta Dutta’s label while walking the red carpet at the 72nd edition of Cannes film festival.
In March, Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor walked the ramp donning mekhela chador designed by Sanjukta at Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week 2019 in Delhi.
During the fashion event, Sanjukta presented her new designer collection ‘Morom’ which encapsulated a mixture of ethnic and Indo-western sensibilities.
She also earlier designed beautiful attires for popular Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Zareen Khan, Preity Zinta, Hema Malini, Tabu and many other renowned celebrities from different industries.
