The BJP is trying to ‘suppress’ the slogan of ‘Joi Aai Axom’.

This was stated by top Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi.

Priyanka Gandhi made this statement while addressing a mega rally at Tezpur in Assam.

In the same breath, Priyanka Gandhi also hit out at the BJP for the party’s alleged close ties with two rich businessmen in the Country.

“BJP’s hum do humare do slogan has tried to suppress Assam’s Joi Aai Axom slogan,” Priyanka Gandhi said.

“Oil fields and airports have been sold to already rich businessmen,” Priyanka Gandhi added.

Priyanka Gandhi also said that Assam is fighting to save its very identity.

Priyanka Gandhi said: “Assam is fighting to save its identity and land.”

Further hitting out at the BJP, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that unemployment is on the rise like never before.

“The Congress in not making promises, but giving you guarantees. Congress is with Assam,” Priyanka Gandhi said.
