Students of a reputed residential school in Guwahati reportedly fled from the school premises on the night of March 1.
A total of 45 students of the Miles Bronson Residential School at Azara in Guwahati fled from the school premises on the night of March 1.
The students fled from the school for alleged distribution of poor quality food.
The students were brought to the Azara Police Station, where they reportedly spent the night.
Later, the students were again handed over to the school authorities.

The police have asked the school authorities and the concerned guardians to resolve the matter among themselves.
“This is a disciplinary issue, not a criminal case,” officials at the Azara Police Station reportedly informed.
Meanwhile, the authorities at the Miles Bronson Residential School are yet to come up with an official statement in regards to the incident.
