“Catch them young is the mantra if you want the society to be drug and addiction free. Hence, we are teaching them how to say no to their peer groups in case they are offered drugs, alcohol or tobacco. As a result of these sessions, students will be able to cope with emotional discomfort and trauma which is also a big reason why a person gets them into addiction of different substances,” an official statement said.
To run the campaign successfully, the club has partnered with few renowned counsellor, physiologist, fitness coach & life coach for their expertise.
Principal Munni Deka highly appreciated the project and requested such sessions to be regularly conducted across all schools & colleges to help the youth get rid of this menace.
