Bajali: Authorities reported a terrifying incident at Assam’s UNESCO World Heritage site, Manas National Park, where Bhawanipur MLA Phanidhar Talukdar narrowly escaped a rhino attack during a visit.
The incident occurred at the Bahbari Range of Manas National Park when a massive one-horned rhino suddenly charged at the vehicle carrying the MLA.
The unexpected attack created panic among the occupants of the vehicle as well as others travelling in nearby vehicles.
The driver managed to bring the situation under control, averted a major tragedy, and prevented any casualties.
Following the incident, MLA Phanidhar Talukdar shared a video of the frightening encounter on his official social media page, drawing attention to the unpredictable nature of wildlife in protected forest areas.
