Amid COVID-19 lockdown, Assam’s Bajali witnessed an ugly scene on Wednesday.

A group of miscreants allegedly attacked a magistrate of Bajali, Jonali Rabha on Wednesday.

As per reports, the attack took place at Sarupeta area of Batuwa in Barpeta district, when the magistrate ordered the people to close down the market.

The miscreants pelted stones at the magistrate’s vehicle.

Meanwhile, police arrested the two people for violating lockdown orders amid coronavirus crisis.

The two youth have been identified as Sadam Hussein (40) and Tajuddin Ali (21).
