Karbi rebel outfits in Assam have sought for advice from political and social organisations for a “successful signing of Karbi Accord”.
“For the successful signing of an accord, I request Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, State and the central government and social organisations to give us advice and show us the path.”
This was stated by Chairman of Karbi Longri NC Hills Liberation Front (KLNLF), P Dilli on Friday.
Chairman of Chairman, Karbi People’s Liberation Tigers (KPLT) – Ron Rongpi said, “We were supposed to sign an accord on February 25. But that could not happen. It’s not a big deal. There was no failure of talks. There were certain technical problems and we had to change the date.”
