Guwahati: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Thursday announced the Higher Secondary results for 2024.

Following the results, Baksa district emerged as the leader in the Arts stream with a pass percentage of 97.44.

Here’s a breakdown of the district-wise performance:

Arts Stream: Baksa secured the top spot with a remarkable 97.44% pass percentage, followed closely by Nalbari (97.03%) and Darrang (96.59%).

Science Stream: Tamulpur district bagged the first position with a 97.98% pass rate. Baksa maintained a strong performance, ranking second with 95.89%, while Jorhat secured the third position at 95.04%.

Commerce Stream: Sivasagar district emerged victorious with a 97.42% pass percentage. Bajali (96.91%) and Baksa (95.88%) followed closely behind.

While the district-wise percentage was shared by the AHSEC, this year, they did not make a toppers list.
