Guwahati: Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on Wednesday said that the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will release the results for the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination on Thursday (May 9).

It may be mentioned that a total of 2,80,216 candidates across the state appeared for the exam.
Of them, 1,39,486 were male candidates and 1,42,732 were female candidates.

In terms of stream, 2,06,467 students are from the Arts stream, 54,287 from the Science stream, and 17,582 from the Commerce stream.

This year there will be no ranking system, officials said.
The results will be announced at 9 AM. Here is how you can check the Higher Secondary (HS) results online:
- Go to resultsassam.nic.in or ahsec.assam.gov.in
- Open the HS 2nd year or Class 12 result link.
- Enter your login details (Roll number) and submit.
- Check and download the AHSEC Class 12th result.
