Sensation prevails in Hajo’s Dampur area after a youth, who had recently returned from Maharashtra, shown signs of coronavirus infection.
The youth was referred to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for further treatment.

Family members have informed that the youth was living with five others in Maharashtra, all of whom have tested positive for COVID-19.
Doctors said that even though the youth shows symptoms of COVID-19, however, nothing can be said with certainty as of now and said they will wait for the final test reports and only then will they confirm about it.
After he was sent to GMCH, a panic like situation has been created in Hajo.
