A video of a Maharashtra policeman singing ‘zindagi maut na ban jaye, sambhalo yaaron’ has gone viral on social media.
The policeman sang the popular Hindi film song with an aim to persuade people to stay indoors amid rising coronavirus positive cases in the state.
The video was apparently shot in north Maharashtra.
In it, the policeman can be seen asking people to stay indoors as part of the social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The out of the box thinking of the policeman to spread the message of social distancing was even lauded by Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh.
Deshmukh posted the video on his Twitter handle, hoping people will notice it.
“A Maharashtra police constable breaks into a song in a bid to convince people to cooperate and stay indoors …hope people listen to his musical entreaty!” Deshmukh tweeted.
