Assam: Gurudwara sabha to feed patients’ attendants at JMCH

For the first time, a Langar sewa has been arranged by the Gurudwara Ramgarhia Sabha, Jorhat for the attendants of patients at Jorhat Medical College & Hospital (JMCH) in the conference hall of JMCH Employees Association, opposite to JMCH branch State bank of India.

Marking the celebration  of 550th birth anniversary year of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, the arrangement to feed patients’ attendants at JMCH will continue for 30 days.

Food were distributed to more than 350 people at JMCH.

“This type of Langar sewa shall be continued at JMCH for next 30 Sundays till  November 12, 2019,” a member of the  Gurudwara Ramgarhia Sabha said.

Senior faculty members of JMCH including Dr. Pranabjit Biswanath, Dr. Mihir Goswami, Dr. Rajib Hazarika and deputy superintendents Dr. Phunu Gogoi, Dr. Nilutpal Bhattacharjee along with administrative staff members Ujjal Bora, Bikash Bordoloi, Chandan Borborah and central pharmacy i/c Sanjib Chaliha and senior nursing administrative staffs attended the programme and they were felicitated by the Gurudwara sabha.

The cleaning team (MAPUNA) and security team (S.I.S.) of JMCH made all the necessary arrangements to smoothly conduct the programme.
