Expressing his resentment on the awards ceremony to be held on February 15 in Guwahati, Bhattacharjya said, โ€œWe are not against the artistes from Mumbai. But the matter to ponder over is that government has donated Rs 30 lakh to a private event and if required they will offer more donation.โ€

โ€œJyoti Prasad Agarwala was the first filmmaker of Assam. Has this organisation done anything for Jyoti Prasad? It is a question every common man is asking todayโ€ Bhattacharjya questioned.
