Guwahati: A gang allegedly robbed nearly Rs 4.5 lakh from a fish trader in Cachar, Assam on Sunday night.
According to the victim Aziz Uddin, the robber barged into their house on Sunday and threatened his father to disclose the location of valuables in the house.

He claimed that since his father was alone at that time he gave up and showed them the locker.

The robbers then took out the cash which was estimated to be Rs 4.5 lakh from it and fled the scene.

Aziz further said that although his brother tried to intervene after hearing noises, the robbers managed to flee.

He claimed that the stolen money was meant for challan issues related to their fish business.
The Kalain Police are currently investigating the incident.
It has been suspected that some they knew had disclosed about the cash storage in the house.
Police are investigating all angles into the case.
