Dhubri deputy commissioner Anbamuthan MP has directed the circle officers-cum-executive magistrates of the district to monitor the Aadhaar Enrolment Centres in a bid to ensure that the process of Aadhaar enrolment is completed by August 31.
The district administration has taken special steps to speed up the Aadhaar enrolment process in the Dhubri district.
Accordingly, the district administration has appointed officials for the overall supervision of notified Aadhaar enrolment centres in the Dhubri district.
The designated officials have been directed to visit the Aadhar Enrolment Centers in their respective areas once a week for the effective implementation of the Aadhaar enrolment process.
The designated officials have also been directed to keep liaison with the notified verifier to complete the entire process within the stipulated time schedule.
The district administration has authorized a total of 41 Aadhaar Enrolment Centers comprising the eight circles namely Dhubri (7), Gauripur (5), Golakganj (4), Agomani (5), Atahni (4), Bilasipara (7), Chapar (4) and South Salmara (5) in Dhubri district.
The Dhubri deputy commissioner has also directed all the Block Development Officers (BDOs) of the district to monitor the work of notified Aadhaar Enrolment Centres in their respective areas at least once a week.
“Anyone violating the stipulated norms shall be informed to the nearest police station to take cases as per law,” said the order.
