The Baghmara unit of Gorkha Students’ Union in association with the Biswanath district unit of All Assam Students’ Union has organized a programme called ‘poetry concert’ on July 15 next.
The day-long discourse of poems and poetry to hosted at the Biswanath College will be graced by internationally famed and Padma Shree winning young poet Nawaraj Parajuli.
Noted poet Nawaraj Parajuli will not only recite his compositions, but will also enlighten the audience with his experiences in poetry and other aspects of the genre in the ‘poetry concert’.
This was informed by Gangaram Phuyel and Anup Sarma, the president and secretary of Gorkha students’ body.
Noted personalities and students who have attained prominence in the fields of literature, culture, education and sports will be felicitated on the occasion.
The organizers have appealed to all organizations that propagate literature and the common people to take active participation in the meet to make it a success.
