A badminton coaching camp for beginners was inaugurated on Wednesday at the newly constructed Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall at Milan Nagar in Dibrugarh in Assam.

The coaching camp was inaugurated by the Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Prashanta Phukan and Rituparna Baruah in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dibrugarh, Laya Madduri, the District Sports Officer, Manas Das, and the Dibrugarh District Sports Association (DDSA) Secretary, Munindra Nath Saikia.

Parents of interested children can enroll their names with the District Sports Officer to participate in the coaching camp organised by the Multipurpose Sports Hall Advisory Committee. The coaching will be held till July 30 next.

The DDSA takes the initiative to organise all sporting activities in Dibrugarh district – football, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis, badminton, athletic, handball and judo.
