An anti-narcotics campaign with the slogan – It is better to stay off Drugs than to get off Drugs was taught to students by  Narayan Upadhay, Secretary of Pratyabartan NGO.

The awareness campaign was organized by Field Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dibrugarh on Friday at Swami Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tiloi Nagar, Moran.

The formal awareness open session, presided over by School’s secretary Arunima Das along with School’ Principal Dipak Bora, Rekha Shamma Baruah, Secretary of Swami Shivananda Yogjyoti Mahavidyalaya and others, the interaction with Sri Upadhay as a resource person was a intensive teaching to students – how to maintain a safe distance with narcotic drugs by self-motivating and the evil effects of drug addiction.

He also conducted a spot quiz competition amongst students.

Rekha Sharma Baruah, in her address stressed on healthy living by doing yoga and meditation in our daily life for physical, mental, spiritual wellness.

Her speech was followed by a yoga demonstration from students of Shivananda Yoga Studio, Dibrugarh.

Earlier, Pranab Kumar Nath, Field Publicity Officer of Dibrugarh highlighted the aims and objectives of the campaign.
