The Arunachal Pradesh government has come up with a new portal for the excise wing of the state tax and excise and narcotics department.
The portal ‘e-Akbari’ will allow seamless online communication among excise officials and other stakeholders and also ensure delivery of services in a transparent and affordable manner.

Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu inaugurated the portal in Itanagar on Wednesday.
The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the National Informatics Center (NIC) along with its West Bengal unit created the portal.
Speaking on the occasion Khandu said that the portal is a step towards e-governance that upholds the motto of reform, perform and transform.

Khandu also stressed the need to train all excise officials on how to handle the portal and get the maximum benefit from the online service.
