Union minister of state for sports and youth affairs Kiren Rijiju has reviewed the preparations of the Indian Olympic team ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
The minister took stock of the preparedness in a review meeting with senior officials of the Indian Olympic Association and sports ministry officials at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) headquarters in New Delhi.

The Olympic Games will be held from July 23 to August 8 in Tokyo in Japan this year.
Rijiju said that the attractive videos of all athletes who will represent the country in the Tokyo Olympics will be made to promote them.
The minister also said that the sports ministry will provide every support to the athletes to make Tokyo Olympics a great experience.

The Union minister also said that he is happy to be a part of the ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ campaign of Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN), the official broadcast partner of the Tokyo Olympics
Sony Sports had launched the campaign in 2019 to garner support for the Indian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics.
The campaign urges the athletes to make their mark in the greatest sports event in the world.
