Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Thursday announced that he would sponsor two football players from the Changlang district.
Khandu interacted with 41 football players of Changlang, who are being currently trained by the New Delhi based Sudeva Delhi Football Club.

The Sudeva Delhi FC is a professional football club that competes in the I-League.
The Changlang district administration will sponsor the best football player among them for one-year free coaching in the national capital.

Two footballers were to be initially selected from among these 41 for training in Delhi and now with the chief minister sponsoring two more, four players will be able to avail of the training.
“Best footballer from Changlang district will be selected for 1 year free football training at Delhi Academy to be sponsored by dist admn. Met the players today who are being trained by Sudeva Delhi FC. Initially 2 were to be selected out of 41; I announced to sponsor another 2,” Pema Khandu tweeted.
