Arunachal Pradesh chief minister, Pema Khandu on Sunday released the e-calendar of the Arunachal Pradesh legislative assembly during a function in Itanagar.

The e-calender is the first to be launched by any state government in India.

Speaking on the occasion, Khandu said that the calendar is a storehouse of information on all important events and holidays in the country.

The textual and pictorial descriptions make it easy for the public to access information.

Pema Khandu tweeted, “I congratulate Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly for launching its e-Calendar, first by any govt establishment in India. The calendar is a repository of information with textual and pictorial description of all important events and holidays serving also as tourism guidebook.”

Khandu also said that the newly launched e-calender will serve as a guidebook for tourists as they will be able to access vital information regarding various events held in the state.
