As per reports, electronics and information technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad revealed that six proposals have been received for 5G trials including from Huawei Technologies.

The United States has blacklisted Huawei in May and had even warned its allies not to use the Chinese company’s products citing reasons that China can spy on its users.
However, China has warned India that Indian companies in China will be in trouble if the country blocks Huawei from doing business after heeding the advice of the United States.
