China has warned India not to stop its technological giant Huawei Technologies from doing business in the country otherwise Indian firms operating in China may face a bleak future.

India who is looking for establishing 5G cellular network in the country is still deciding whether to open the trials to the Chinese technological giant.

As per reports, electronics and information technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad revealed that six proposals have been received for 5G trials including from Huawei Technologies.

RSS economic wing head Ashwini Mahajan wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week that Huawei Technologies cannot be trusted as the company is facing allegations that it uses its equipments for spying on its users.

A high-level group of officials, led by the principal scientific advisor to the Indian government K Vijay Raghavan and including representatives from the departments of telecoms, information technology and the intelligence services, has been looking into whether to open the 5G trials to Huawei.

The United States has blacklisted Huawei in May and had even warned its allies not to use the Chinese company’s products citing reasons that China can spy on its users.

However, China has warned India that Indian companies in China will be in trouble if the country blocks Huawei from doing business after heeding the advice of the United States.
