As many as 141,991 voters turned up as of 1 pm on Thursday for the third parliamentary elections of Bhutan.
There were 75,066 female and 66,925 male voters, according to Kuensel.
The EVM voter turnout as of 1 pm is reported to be 46.6 per cent.
According to reports, 35,497 votes have been cast every hour.

About 148 votes were cast every minute while at least two votes were cast every second.
So far the highest attendance of 5271 voters has been registered at Bongo-Chapchha constituency while the lowest of 422 has been registered at Khatoed-Laya constituency.
A total of 865 polling stations have been set up in 20 districts for the general elections, even voting began early morning on Thursday.
Thursday’s polling will decide the fate of 94 candidates, 47 each from Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa (DNT) and Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) parties.
According to Bhutan’s constitution only two political parties, who get highest votes in the primary round, can participate in the final round of general elections.
The primary round concluded on September 15, and saw the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ousted from the race.
The two parties that are battling it out are the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) and the Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa (DNT).
Notably, government offices, schools and commercial establishments remained closed across the Himalayan kingdom on Thursday.
