Guwahati: Four coaches and the engine of the Sabarmati-Agra Superfast Express derailed near Madar railway station in Ajmer, Rajasthan, early on Monday morning.

Passengers reported hearing a loud noise around 1:00 am.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Rescue teams, including the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), and senior railway officials, are on-site.

Efforts are underway to re-rail the coaches and engine.

Railway PRO Shashi Kiran confirmed no injuries and stated that restoration work is ongoing.

“We are hopeful that our team will soon get the site back up and running. Senior officials are monitoring the situation closely,” he said.
