Assam has registered 14 new COVID19 positive cases taking the total to 392.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 10.35 pm on Sunday said the infected patients are from Hojai, Kamrup Rural, Kamrup Metro, Nagaon and Karbi Anglong districts.
While 5 infected patients are from Hojai, 5 others are from Kamrup Rural district and 2 are from Kamrup Metro district.
Health minister Sarma informed that the two other infected patients are from Nagaon and Karbi Anglong districts.
“Alert ~ 14 new cases of #COVID19+ confirmed. 5 Hojai; 5 Kamrup; 2 Kamrup Metro; 1 Nagaon; 1 East Karbi Anglong,” tweeted health minister Sarma.
“Total cases 392. Recovered 57. Active cases 328. Deaths 04. Migrated 03,” Sarma added.
On Sunday, the number of COVID19 cases in India rose to 1,31,868 with 6,767 new infections reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the total cases, 73,560 cases are active infections while 54,440 patients have been discharged after their recovery.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 3,867 people in India.
