Veteran Bollywood actor Zeenat Aman is mesmerized by the beauty and cleanliness of Nagaland and said that the state is one of the cleanest places in India.
“I have visited Nagaland and it is such a beautiful place. The people there are warm, lovely and friendly in nature,” she said while interacting with the media in Mumbai on Thursday.
The event also featured former Miss Nagaland Imlibenla Wati.
“I have to say that there is so much of talent there — be it music, painting or other art forms,” she further added.
“Nagaland is very beautiful and scenic. People there take pride in keeping everything neat and clean,” she said.
“They decorate their houses by planting trees and flowers so, I have fond memories of places I have visited in Nagaland,” added Zeenat Aman.
Former Miss Nagaland Imlibenla Wati represented India at the Miss Asia Pacific World 2016 pageant in China.
Praising Wati, the 1970 Miss Asia Pacific winner Zeenat Aman said, “I was so happy to meet this young lady.”
“She has won many competitions like Miss Nagaland, Miss India Elite and Miss Asia Pacific India,” added Zeenat.
“So, it’s very relevant because I was the first person to win Miss Asia. I think she is very beautiful, intelligent and softspoken,” the veteran actor further said.
When asked about Indian women’s portrayal in Hindi films, she said, “Honestly speaking, I haven’t watched a lot of movies recently, so I cannot give you a comment on what’s happening.”
