Hero MotoCorp has finally announced the availability of its highly anticipated Centennial Edition motorcycle.

This special edition bike, first showcased at the Hero World event in January alongside the Xtreme 125R and the Mavrick 440 launch, pays homage to the company’s founder, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, on his 101st birth anniversary.

Based on the Karizma XMR platform, the Centennial Edition boasts a sleek carbon-fibre body, a single-seat design, and premium features like a milled swingarm, fully adjustable suspension, and a top-of-the-line Akrapovic carbon fibre exhaust muffler.

These modifications contribute to a lighter weight of 158kg, a 5.5kg reduction compared to the standard Karizma XMR.

Since its January unveiling, the Centennial Edition has undergone minor revisions.

The most noticeable changes include a seemingly less sophisticated master cylinder and a switch from Pirelli tyres to MRF rubber, which is likely a cost-saving measure.
