Assam’s sprint queen Hima Das once again brought laurels to the country by winning an international gold medal for the third time this year at the Kladno Memorial Athletics Meet in Czech Republic on Saturday.

Hima finished at the top clocking 23.43 seconds to clinch the gold in the women’s 200 m race.
Expressing her delight on winning the third international gold medal this year, Hima Das stated on her official Twitter handle that she had won the competition due to the blessings of her huge number of fans.
She tweeted, “With the blessings of you all, once again i have won gold medal”.

Hima won an international gold for the third time this year within a period of two weeks.
She won her second international gold in women’s 200 m at the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland on Sunday last.
Hima clocked 23.97 seconds to win her second international gold medal this year.
In her first competitive 200m race of the year, Hima, dubbed as the Dhing Express had clocked 23.65 seconds on her way to gold in the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix, also in Poland, on Tuesday last.
