The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered re-polling on May 21 in two polling stations in Arunachal Pradesh.
The ECI order came following complaints of electoral malpractices in the two polling booths in Kurung Kumey district and Kra Daadi district of the state.
The decision of re-polling was taken following recommendation of a team of the poll panel, who met representatives of different political parties here on May 14.
The polling stations are 28-Nampe in Koloriang constituency and 6-Gimba in Tali constituency.
Re-polling has already been held in 18 booths in Arunachal Pradesh on April 20 and 27, including this two polling stations.
However, several allegations of electoral malpractices were raised in the re-polling as well.
Following complaints, the ECI had sent a four-member team to assess the ground situation in Tali and Palin assembly constituencies.
