Two Naga students’ bodies said they would support students from remote places of Nagaland who want to venture out of the state and get ‘settled’ in Allahabad and Pune.

Naga Students’ Union Allahabad (NSUA) and Naga Students’ Union Pune (NSUP) on Wednesday said they would handhold the students from remote areas of Nagaland who want to go out of Nagaland for pursuing higher studies and get ‘settled’.

While NSUA will support Naga students in venturing out to Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, NSUP will extend support to students who want to study at Pune in Maharashtra.

At a time when most of the students from remotest areas in the Northeast get lost while searching for better educational institutes and proper accommodation facilities outside the region, the initiative of these Naga students’ bodies have definitely encouraged students from Nagaland.

The Naga students’ unions notified that the students of Nagaland will be provided with suitable accommodation details and admission guidance for different colleges in the two states.
