The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) will organize a Raj Bhavan march to register protest with Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki against the multi-crore Rafale deal scam on September 20 next.

The march will be led by several national leaders, according TPCC.

This will be a part of the call given by All India Congress Committee (AICC) against the alleged multi-crore scam in the Rafale deal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A memorandum will also be submitted to the Governor on September 20.

Interacting with media in Agartala on Monday , state Congress president Birajit Sinha said that the nationwide campaign to unearth the largest scam of the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government, where price of per aircraft has been increased up to three times higher.

The state unit of the will also organize a mass rally in front of Raj Bhavan before their deputation.

AICC’s Northeast in-charge Luizinho Faleiro, all India Youth Congress president Keshav Chandra Yadav and vice president B V Shrinivas will take part in the demonstration, Sinha informed.

Sinha also added that Congress will contest in all seats of the by-elections for three-tier panchayats, which is scheduled to be held on September 30.

The by-elections for about 52  per cent seats of panchayats was necessitated following large scale of resignation of elected representative after BJP-IPFT coalition government came to power in March last.

The state unit of the Congress also demanded adequate security and conducive atmosphere for the ensuing Panchayat by-elections.
