Guwahati: The Government of India held a high-level tripartite meeting with the Government of Nagaland and the Eastern Nagaland Peopleโs Organisation (ENPO) on December 21 to discuss matters related to the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT).
The meeting was chaired by the Union Home Secretary at Kartavya Bhavan-3 on Janpath Road, New Delhi.
The Nagaland government delegation was led by the state Chief Secretary, while senior ENPO representatives also attended.
Prior to the tripartite discussions, a bilateral meeting took place on December 18, 2025, between the ENPO and a Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) team.
The central team included senior officials from the North East division and intelligence agencies, highlighting the importance of the talks.
After the meetings, the ENPO delegation, accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP S. Phangnon Konyak, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his official residence on December 21.
During the visit, the delegation conveyed Christmas greetings and appreciated the Centreโs seriousness and commitment towards resolving the FNT issue.
