Actor Salman Khan has been hospitalised after he was bitten by a snake at his Panvel farmhouse ahead of his 56th birthday.
According to reports, the snake was non-venomous.
For treatment of the snake bite, the actor was taken to MGM hospital early morning.
He was kept under observation for six hours in the hospital located at Kamothe in Navi Mumbai.
The actor was discharged from the hospital at 9 am, reports said.
It has been reported that Salman Khan usually celebrates his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse.
Panvel falls under the Raigad district in Maharashtra.
He went to the farmhouse for celebrating his 56th birthday on Monday.

According to a media report, he received a snake bite in his hand on Saturday night and he was immediately taken to the MGM hospital at Kamothe.
The report quoted sources as saying that the actor is back to his Panvel farmhouse now.
Salman last year celebrated his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse with his entire family.

Salman on a recent episode of Bigg Boss 15 cut his birthday cake with the cast of RRR – Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
As per another report, Salman Khan recently returned from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
In Riyadh, the actor led the Da-Bangg Reloaded concert which included Shilpa Shetty, Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, Sunil Grover, singer Kamaal Khan and actress Saiee Manjrekar in the lineup.
