In order to streamline the party activities in Udalguri district from the grass-root level, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) held an important organizational meeting of the party on Wednesday at the conference hall of Udalguri Town Committee.
The BJP meeting was attended by party workers from eight mandal committees under the Udalguri District Committee of the party.
The national General Secretary (Organisational) of the party, V Satish participated in the meeting and appealed to the party workers of the district to work jointly to strengthen the party and achieve the future goal in the region.
The national BJP leader also outlined the current organizational activities of the BJP in the Northeastern States and expressed satisfaction over the team spirit of the party workers.
The meeting was anchored by General Secretary of the Udalguri District Committee of BJP, Ajay Hazarika.
The meeting was also addressed by General Secretaries of the State BJP, Dilip Saikia and Mriganka Barman, General Secretary (Organisational) of the State Committee, Phanindra Nath Sarmah.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman of the Assam Tourism Development Corporation, Nabadeep Kalita, Vice Chairman of the Assam Financial Development Corporation, Anil Das, MLA of Rangia Legislative Assembly Constituency, Bhabesh Kalita and the President of Udalguri District BJP, Kartik Ch Boro among many others.
