Mizoram reported 1 more death due to Covid19 infection and 139 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Covid19 bulletin, released by the directorate of information and public relations, Mizoram, on Monday morning, the new cases were detected during the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).
With the new cases, the number of total Covid19 positive cases registered in Mizoram increased to 1,25,131 on Monday.
As per the health bulletin, Mizoram currently has 5,470 active cases.

With the death of one more patient due to Covid19 infection, the disease has so far claimed 449 people.
Currently, the Covid19 positivity rate stands at 12.66%.
The DIPR in its Covid19 update on Sunday evening informed that a total of 531 people recovered in the last 24 hours.

Of the recoveries, Aizawl district recorded 326, Champhai-56, Hnahthial-38, Lunglei-32, Mamit-32, Siaha-25, Khawzawl-7, Saitual-7, Kolasib-5 and Lawngtlai district recorded 3 recoveries.
The state’s recovery rate stood at 95.28%.
On Sunday, Mizoram reported 2 deaths and 453 new positive cases.
Mizoram’s total positive cases stood at 1,24,992 till Sunday.
Mizoram’s Covid19 positivity rate stood at 11.13%.
