CM Biren Singh said that the STAR Education Manipur programme would help teachers and students in teaching and learning process. 

“This new flagship programme would assist teachers and student tremendously,” Manipur chief minister Biren Singh said after launching the STAR Education Manipur programme. 

He added: “STAR Education Manipur is a flagship program by the Government of Manipur to transform the education system through innovative teaching and learning.”

The new flagship education programme aims to transform the education system of Manipur through excellence in teaching and learning in classrooms. 

This new flagship programme would implement measures such as introduction of innovative technology and data-driven platforms. 

High-quality learning materials, training and coaching for teachers and technology-enabled support teams would also be introduced as part of the programme. 

“The program will start with 500 schools in the first year,” Manipur chief minister Biren Singh further said.
