The Dhubri district administration has conducted a training programme for the zonal officers of police, administration and paramilitary as part of preparations for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.
Dhubri will go to the polls in the third phase on April 6.

Meanwhile, Avinash Kr Yadav has been appointed as an election observer (expenditure) for the three Dhubri, Gauripur and Golakganj constituencies.
The ECI also appointed Satish Mahadev Lokhendwal as a general observer for the Dhubri and Gauripur constituencies and Prabhat Kumar as general observer for the Golakganj constituency.
