Coronavirus has been found on ice cream in China.
This has been reported from Tianjin in eastern China.
Notably, Tianjin is located adjacent to China’s capital Beijing.
The discovery of coronavirus on ice creams has prompted the authorities to recall the ice cream cartons from the same batch.
The ice cream producers The Daqiaodao Food Co Ltd in Tianjin, has been sealed and its employees are being tested for coronavirus.
However, there are no reports of anyone contracting the virus from the coronavirus infested ice cream.
Test results of over 700 employees have returned negative.

While a total of 4,836 boxes of the ice cream reportedly were contaminated, the company destroyed 2,089 boxes.
The health authorities are also tracing the customers who bought the ice cream and have been asked to submit their health details.
The Chinese Government authorities informed that the ice cream ingredients include milk powder from New Zealand and whey powder from Ukraine.
Notably, the Chinese Government had been suggesting that coronavirus, which was first detected in Wuhan in late 2019, came from abroad.
Chinese health authorities believe that the virus reached the ice cream through an infected person.
