Mortal remains of CISF jawan Jayanta Doley on Saturday reached Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati.
Jayanta Doley, a 30-year-old CISF jawan from Bokakhat in Upper Assam’s Golaghat district was killed in a road mishap on Thursday evening in New Delhi.
Sources said at around 7.55 am the mortal remains of constable Jayanta Doley arrived at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International (LGBI) Airport.
Senior CISF officials received the coffin, and arrangements are being made to send it by road to Bokakhat.
The CISF jawan hailed from Balijan Adarsha Mishing Gaon in Bokakhat under Golaghat district. Jayanta Doley had joined the CISF in 2012.
Jayanta Doley, son of Jawaharlal Doley, was deployed with the CISF at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
At around 9 pm on Thursday, while he was riding a scooty to the Indira Gandhi International Airport to report for duty, he was reportedly hit by a vehicle.
Jayanta was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. He had succumbed succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
