Girls outshine boys in the higher secondary examination, 2020.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education on Friday announced the result of Class XII.

The lockdown is going on in Tripura now.

In spite of lockdown, the TBSE declared their result.

Professor Bhabatosh Saha, President of Tripura Board of Secondary Education, released the results at a press conference in the morning.

This year overall pass percentage is 80.80 per cent, said Bhabotosh Saha, president of TBSE.

This year Tripura Board did not complete their Class XII examination due to coronavirus pandemic situation.

Later all the pending examinations were cancelled.

The pass percentage in Commerce is 78.56 per cent.

The pass percentage in Arts is 79.52 per cent.

The highest pass rate is in the Science stream, is 89.85 per cent.

This time 17 students have found their place in the first ten places.

Bipasha Chakraborty, a student of Udaipur Vivekananda Vidyapeeth, stood first place and secured a total of 482.

She is student of Arts stream.

Sepahijala district has the highest pass percentage.

The pass rate in that district is 84.27 per cent.

The lowest pass rate is in Dhalai with 73.84 per cent.

A total of 27147 candidates took the examination.

Notably, the toppers in all the three streams are girls.
