The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya rose to 47 when a traveller from Assam tested positive for coronavirus in Ri-Bhoi district.
The patient has been kept under quarantine.
Informing about it in a tweet, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said, “One more traveller who came from Assam has tested positive for COVID19 in Ri-Bhoi District and has been kept under quarantine.”
