Assam has registered 191 more Covid19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 4,510.
This was confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status.
The health minister said the new cases were reported FROM various parts of Assam between 11 am to 11 pm.
Sarma said, Covid19 tests continue to be conducted in different labs in the state.
“Alert ~ 191 new #COVID19+ cases have been reported in Assam today between 11 am to 11 pm. Our testing continues in full swing,” Sarma tweeted.
With the new cases, the number of active Covid19 cases in Assam now stands at 2,088.
Earlier, 2,411 Covid19 patients were discharged after their recovery.
The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 8 people so far while 3 cases migrated from the state.
“Total cases 4510.R 2411. Active cases 2088. Deaths 08,” Sarma added.
On Tuesday, a total of 206 Covid19 patients were discharged from various district, civil, model and medical college hospitals after they tested negative for Covid19.
