The COVID-19 tally of Manipur rose to 66 after four more tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, an official informed.

According to the official, among the four who tested positive include three women and two of them belong to Kangpokpi and one each belongs to Imphal East and Imphal West districts.

The official informed that the four persons have recently returned to by a Shramik Special train and were in quarantine centres.

The condition of the patients are stable, the official added.

Necessary containment measures and contact tracing were underway, he said.

The official added that the two patients from Kangpokpi district had returned from Pune.

“The other two had returned from Delhi,” the official added.

The state currently has 59 active coronavirus cases, and seven patients have recovered from the disease.
