Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte issued hand sanitizers, facemasks and thermal scanners for Yatdam, Namtok and Changlang circles of Changlang district on Sunday.
The items were handed over to the COs of the respective circles.
Pongte appealed to all to maintain physical distancing, stay indoors, and not go out unnecessarily.
Meanwhile, a COVID-19 control room has been set up at the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Secretariat in Itanagar.
It has been set up to help the state’s people stranded across the country amid the nationwide lockdown.
The control room has become operational from Monday.
The control room will function under the supervision of Special Secretary to Speaker, PN Thongchi, Joint Secretary Agaab Mossang, and Undersecretary L Rongrang.
