Mizoram has not reported confirmed case of coronavirus till date, a state Health department official said on Thursday.
The official said at least 156 people, who returned from abroad, are being currently put under home quarantine as a precautionary measure though they did not have symptoms suggestive of coronavirus.
He said 46,038 people have been screened for the virus so far.
On Thursday, 4,296 people were screened at Lengpui airport and other screening counters along inter-state and international borders, he said.

Meanwhile, official statement said that the Indo-Bangladesh border has been sealed and entry points along the international border were opened only at Zokhawthar on the Mizoram-Myanmar border.
The statement also said that health minister Dr R Lalthangliana held a meeting with Mizoram Kohhran Hruatute Committee (MKHC) and sought help to prevent the spread of coronavirus on Thursday.
MKHC is a conglomerate of church leaders’ committee involving at least 15 major churches in the state.
The meeting agreed to carry out awareness to be published on respective church weekly bulletin.
The MKHC also would take measure to ensure that mass gathering is avoided at important programme like wedding, memorial stone erection and other important programme concerning churches.
Sources said that some major local churches belonging to different denominations have temporarily suspended worship service to avoid mass gathering until further order.
Many organizations and political parties, including main opposition Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) and Mizoram People’s Conference (MPC) also closed their offices for this month.
Meanwhile, Mizoram Merchant Association (MIMA) has prohibited door to door vending by any individuals, including Myanmar national and non-tribal in respective neighbourhood.
The association on Thursday issued advisory to its member stating that all shop keepers and helpers must wear protective mask and hand glove and maintain regular hand washing.
Any traders coming from outside should be self quarantined at home for at least 14 days.
The association also banned any mass gathering by the members and warned them not to hike commodities prices.
