Public Private Partnership (PPP) expert with the Government of Uttrakhand, Sumanta Kausik Sharma, who hails from Assam, will be delivering a talk on ‘Promoting Community Sustainability through Clean Energy in Rural North East India: Innovative Financing’.
The talk will be delivered at Arizona State University in Temple, Arizona during a three-day workshop hosted by the School for Future of Innovation in Society.
The workshop entitled ‘Eradicating Poverty through Energy Innovation: Harnessing Sustainable Energy Transitions from Human Thriving’ will be held from February 12 to February 14.
Notably, Sharma will be only speaker representing India in the three-day symposium.
Participants from all over the country will share their knowledge as how to develop new approaches to energy conservation and innovation in sustainable growth.
The workshop will also seek to address the United Nations Developmental Goals for ending global poverty and providing sustainable energy for entire humankind for generations to come.
Based on prior submissions of written abstracts, scholars and practitioners from all over the globe have been chosen on merit and invited to attend the workshop.
Sharma, who hails from Phukan Ali in Jorhat and has been involved in working on environmental issues with the Uttrakhand Government.
