The screening test (OMR-based) for the posts of assistant engineers (civil) in the Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED) has been postponed.
In a notification on Monday, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) announced that the screening test scheduled for December 22 has been postponed until further notification.

“Due to unavoidable circumstances, the screening test for the posts of assistant engineers (civil) in the PHE department, scheduled for December 22, has been postponed until further notice,” the APSC notification state.
“Inconvenience caused to the candidates is regretted,” it added.
Likewise, the interview for the posts of IFIC professor (in-service education) for DIET under the directorate of SCERT, department of primary education scheduled for December 20 o December 23 has also been postponed.

Further notifications will be issued regarding the interview, the notification added.
