In view of the raging protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB), the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Wednesday has cancelled a number of its trains.

The NF Railway have cancelled, short terminated and diverted 18 of its trains on Wednesday.

According to a press release issued by the NFR, the following trains were cancelled and rescheduled:

  • 15604 Ledo-Guwahati Intercity Express of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 15606 Dibrugarh-Furkating- Guwahati Intercity Express of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 15908 Naharlagun-Tinsukia Intercity Express of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 05820 Dekargaon-Dibrugarh Intercity Express of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 75906 Dibrugarh-Ledo DEMU of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 75911 Dibrugarh-Dangri DEMU of 11.12.19 is cancelled
  • 75912 Dangri-Dibrugarh DEMU of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 55606 Murkongselek-Dibrugarh passenger of 11.12.19 is cancelled.
  • 15909 Avadh Assam Express will originate from New Tinsukia and will remain cancelled between Dibrugarh and New Tinsukia
  • 15943 Silchar-Dibrugarh Express of 11.12.19 will be diverted via Simaluguri-Duliajan-Naharkatia and will short –terminate at New Tinsukia.
  • 55913 Passenger is controlled at Lakwa from 8-40 hrs.
  • 15943 Silchar-Dibrugarh Express is controlled at Simaluguri from 09-07 hrs.
  • 75902 DEMU is controlled at Makum Jn from 09-00 hrs.
  • 55904 Passenger is controlled at Numaligarh from 8-31 Hrs.
  • 15907 Tinsukia –Naharlagun Express of 11.12.19 will remain cancel.
  • 05819 Dibrugarh-Dekargaon spl of 11.12.19 will remain cancel.
  • 75903 Dibrugarh-Ledo DEMU of 11.12.19 is cancelled
  • 75907 Ledo – Dibrugarh DEMU of 11.12.19 is cancelled
