Security forces have reportedly recovered a huge cache of arms ammunition including 13 rocket launchers belonging to proscribed ULFA in Bangladesh.
A team of Bangladesh Army and the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a joint operation recovered the arms during a raid at Satchari National Park in Habiganj district Bangladesh along Assam and Tripura border, The Assam Tribune reported.

The counterinsurgency operation launched by security forces on Friday ended on Saturday afternoon.
No arrest has been made in connection with the recovery of the arms.
In June, the RAB had recovered 12,000 weapons along with rocket launchers and machine guns from the Satchari National Park.

The RAB carried out raids three times at the park during that time.
In 2004 that 10 truckloads of arms and ammunition apparently smuggled in by ULFA (I) chief Paresh Barua from China were seized by Bangladesh Army near Chittagong.
Barua was also awarded a death sentence by a Bangladesh court after he was convicted in that arms consignment case.
Some of the arms are visibly quite new.
This has raised several eyebrows as to whether the ULFA-I is gaining ground again in the neighbouring country.
